As required by California Assembly Bill 746, the Yolo County Office of Education conducted lead testing at our school sites. Effective January 1, 2018, AB 746 required a community water system to conduct lead sampling, by July 1, 2010. AB 746 requires corrective action to be taken if lead content is above 15 parts per billion (ppb). Any school sites with lead content measuring between 5ppb and 15ppb do not require corrective action, but the state must be notified.
