Thank you for your interest in employment
with the Yolo County Office of Education. The
following instructions are provided to assist
you in completing your application.
- Fill out the application form carefully,
neatly and completely. It is important that
the Vacancy Number be listed on your application.
Do not leave blank spaces with "SEE RESUME"
written across. Write on the application form
the information requested and ATTACH any other
supplemental material intended to expand and
document the statements made on the application.
- This application is a general application
for all positions with the YCOE. If an item
does not apply to you simply write "N/A" for
"Non-Applicable", or "Does Not Apply."
- Letters of recommendation, transcripts,
credentials and other supplemental material
sent under separate cover must include your
complete name, and be addressed to the Human
Resources Department.
- It is your responsibility to submit a complete
application package. Human Resources cannot
duplicate materials to complete your application.
- All originals/copies of documents become
the property of the YCOE. Therefore, application
materials submitted to YCOE cannot be returned.
We cannot honor later requests to make copies
of application materials.
- After completing your application, send
all materials to the YCOE Human Resources

- It is essential that your application and
required supplemental materials be returned
prior to the "Filing Deadline." Applications
and the required supplemental materials cannot
be accepted past this date.
- Candidates will be interviewed based on
a review and evaluation of their application.
Meeting the minimum qualifications for a position
does not assure the candidate an interview.
In the interview, consideration will be given
to factors other than education and experience,
including, but not limited to, technical skills
or technical knowledge, personal development,
ability to work with others, initiative and
sensitivity. The position you applied for
may require written examinations. Interview
expenses will be the responsibility of the
candidate. All recommendations for employment
are approved by the Superintendent before
an offer of employment can be made.
